This site was created to offer both the general public and professional hypnotists a way to find each other. Although the primary goal of this site is providing professional resources to people in need of a Hypnotist in their area.

How to Use This Directory

The directory is divided by regions.  For example: If you live in California and want to find a hypnotist in San Diego, you would click on the "West Coast" region of the directory.

Using The Search Engine

Notice that once you have clicked on the proper region that a "Search box" will appear on the upper left corner of the directory. You can click on the "Browse Listings" link right below the search box to see all of the listings in that region or you can narrow down your search by entering "San Diego" in the search box. This will return a broad search with all of the listings beginning with "San". 

Narrowing Down Your Search

Use the "Keyword" or "Advance Search" to narrow down your search. Once you are at the search entry page, fill out the prompts accordingly.

Finding a Hypnotist By Specialty or Modality

In the "Keyword Search" feature you can locate a hypnotist by the type of therapy you would like to experience. For example: You are looking for a hypnotist in San Diego, California that performs stop-smoking therapy. Go to the "West Coast" section of the directory and choose the "Keyword Search" under the search engine box on the upper left corner of the page. Once in the keyword search page enter the following in the top wide box - enter "stop smoking" -  leave all of the boxes to their default value except for the category box.  Choose California and choose to either have the search return the result as headlines or full listings. Headline results will show you a line by line summary of your search where the full display will show you the actual listing.

Finding a Hypnotist by Last Name, City or Business Name

Again using the "Keyword Search" feature and entering any terms in the search box like the hypnotist's last name (even a first name) or business name will return a result page. Since the City is included in the caption of the listing you can type the city directly in the search box when you are in the proper region or you can use the "Keyword Search" to narrow down the search.

Asking For A Referral

We strongly encourage you to search the database for the professional you are looking for, especially if your are looking for a hypnotist to either stop- smoking or lose weight. Most hypnotists offer those program and should be fairly skilled in performing those services.

If you live in a remote area, chances are that we may not have a hypnotist listed in your area. If this is the case, please DO NOT write to us asking for a referral, chances are we do not know of anyone either. As an alternative, we encourage you to write to the nearest hypnotist in the database who is in your area and ask them if they would know of anyone closer to you. Most professional hypnotists belong to associations and organizations and they may have a directory or roster of practicing hypnotists in your area.

We are the largest Hypnotist Directory on the Internet. We have many members and therefore we receive hundreds of requests each week. At times of high traffic and demand, it may be up to a week to ten days at times before we are able to respond to your request. For that reason, it is best if you try to locate the hypnotist yourself. If you feel you have a unique request and you are not able to either find a hypnotist in your area that would list that particular modality for which you need assistance as their specialty, then you may use the form below to submit your request. 

 Again, remember if you weren't able to locate a hypnotist in your area using the instructions above, more than likely we would not have a referral for you either. All our hypnotists are listed in the database.
